Description: The study presented here offers a diagnosis of the situation regarding violence against women in politics in Panama, identifying, in the experiences of the women interviewed, the various forms and manifestations of the experiences of the women interviewed, the various forms and manifestations of discrimination and violence to which they are exposed.
The study also provides recommendations and a roadmap to make the law effective to be effective. The recommendations range from protocols required for
prevention, attention, protection and sanctioning of cases of violence, to the establishment of a national observatory, the the establishment of a national observatory, and strategies for the consolidation of inclusive and plural alliances and articulations at the national level.
